Welcome

to our Transgender Services information page.

Meeting the needs of the trans, nonbinary, and gender nonconforming community by creating safe spaces for peer support, assisting with identity documentation, distributing foundational garments, and maintaining relationships with medical facilities providing gender affirming care.

Our Transgender Services is aimed at people who identify across the trans spectrum, regardless of their sexual orientation. It is divided into 2 groups:

Central Florida

Transgender Peer Network

This is a peer-led support meeting for those with trans and non-binary experience looking for a safe space to discuss important topics, community issues, and awareness. This allows for questions to be answered, rights to be known, community connections to be strengthened, and self-esteem to be reinforced.

This group is for people over 18 who identify across the trans spectrum, regardless of sexual orientation.

We meet weekly on Mondays from
6:00 pm – 7:30 pm.

Virtual meeting, Tuesdays at
6:00pm – 7:00pm

Child Gender Identity & Caregiver Support Group

This group is for transgender and gender non-conforming children ages 5-13 and their caregivers. The goal is to explore specific topics of interest and concerns, allowing them to resolve doubts, access information, and consolidate their own identity.

Caregivers will meet with Alejandro Rodriguez, MA, LMHC, for a facilitated discussion. At the same time, children will be guided in activities designed for them by Central Florida Community Arts with assistance by Maia Monet, the Transgender Resource Manager at The Center Orlando.

The fourth Sunday from
2:00 pm – 3:30 pm.
