All testing carried out in our facilities are provided completely for free

We work hard to ensure that all members of the LGBT+ community feel safe and comfortable in our locations, and we strive to provide safe and non-judgmental spaces. You can be sure that personal information is handled with great care and in a confidential manner. STI tests are carried out in partnership with the State of Florida’s Department of Health.

  • Disclaimer: Please note Harmony Healthcare can only take 8 individuals per night. First come first serve, walk-in only. Once in the building you will receive a courtesy call back time. All paperwork must be filled out prior to being seen.

FAQS

Consult the following frequently asked questions so that you can clarify doubts about the procedure.
We will only provide confidential testing where a valid photo ID is required. We do not share identifiable information unless the test result returns preliminary positive, in which it is shared with the Florida Department of Health for reporting, surveillance and controlling the spread of the virus. The HIV test result will become part of your confidential medical record.
If you are pregnant, or become pregnant, the test results will become part of your baby's medical record. The information obtained during a testing session is used for connection to further services and care. Everyone utilizing a testing service has the right to refuse or consent to services. If seeking anonymous HIV testing, please check with your local Department of Health.
Walk-in to either location and inform the front desk of the testing you are interested in receiving. You Will be asked to comply with the following requirements:
  • Valid Photo ID
  • Must be 13 years or older: no parent/ guardian required for HIV/Hep C, which is provided by The Florida Department of Health
  • Must be 18 years or older for testing provided by Crew Health and Harmony Healthcare Orlando
  • Must be three days outside of menstruation for urine tests

You will receive paperwork to fill out in the waiting area if seeking any of the following tests:
  • Chlamydia & Gonorrhea (urine, oral, rectal)
  • Hepatitis A/B (blood)
  • Herpes 2 (blood)
  • Pregnancy (rapid urine)
  • Syphilis (rapid)

Dependent upon location, you may receive a buzzer and/or letter card showing your place in line and will be called via that letter or number. Once in a testing room, you will be in a safe, confidential space to speak freely with your tester about the tests you are receiving and any questions/concerns.
  • All rapid test results are provided same day within 15-20 minutes of receiving the test.
  • Results for the tests performed by The Florida Department of Health can be found in the portal here:  https://www.fdohpatientportal.org/#!/login . The link to sign up was sent to the email you provided on the day of service. If you did not provide a valid email, these results must be obtained at the Florida Department of Health located at 832 W Central Blvd. Orlando, FL 32803 Medical Records Department.
  • Results for the tests performed by Crew Health or Harmony Healthcare Orlando can be located in their respective portals found on their website. The link to sign up was sent to the email you provided on the day of service. Results can also be acquired by contacting each agency directly.

General Information
  • I hereby enter into this contract with LGBT+ Center Orlando, Inc. for the use of and have fully read and understood all rules and regulations governing the use of the facility.
  • I understand that the rental fee is per hour and agree to pay all fees prior to space usage.
  • I understand that LGBT+ Center Orlando, Inc. does not offer refunds.
  • I understand that I will be held financially responsible for any damage made to the facilities, appliances, furniture, or equipment.
  • I understand that I will be held responsible for the behavior of the group organization’s membership and its guests.
  • I understand that LGBT+ Center Orlando, Inc. may cancel the use of the facility if I or any persons in my group/organization do not comply with the user agreement and the guidelines.
